Thiols, Terps & Love is our all NZ Hopped XPA (Extra Pale Ale). Unlike all our other NZ-hopped beers this one is clear. This is the third batch of this beer and every time we tried to make it clear in the past it just wouldn’t cooperate. We used a new to us dry hopping technique this time around and voila, clear beer! The name comes from the annual crop report we get from our largest NZ hop supplier, Freestyle Farms. The last line in the report always reads “Packed with Thiols, Terpenes, and grown with Love. Every variety in this beer is grown by Freestyle. It features Southern Cross, NZ Cascade, Riwaka, Nelson, & Motueka. A heavy hitting cast that delivers explosive flavor and aroma but in a drier, slightly lower ABV, package than our typical High Point IPA. There are no exogenous terpenes or thiols in this beer just the ones found naturally occurring in these amazing hops.
