We’re very excited to introduce our latest all New Zealand Hopped IPA, Thiols Terps and Love. You all know we absolutely adore hops from New Zealand. They’re a critical component to 90% of the hoppy beer we make for a reason. They deliver more terpenes and free thiols than hops from any other country in the world resulting in beers packed with exotic flavor and aroma. This particular beer is designed to showcase the freshest 2023 Harvest varieties from our NZ Hop Supplier @freestylehops.

Formed in 2016, Freestyle, has been working feverishly to provide brewers with sustainably grown hops precisely farmed and processed to the highest standards possible. Their practices and transparencies have helped raise the bar for all hops grown in NZ. As lovers of intensely flavorful and wildly aromatic hoppy beer we’re fortunate to reap the benefits of all their hard work and consider ourselves lucky to be able to work them.

A simple malt bill of Pale and Pilsner malt coupled with a blend of our two favorite lager yeasts provides the cleanest canvas for pure NZ hop expression. Kettle, whirlpool, and judicious dry hop additions of 2023 harvest Nelson Sauvin, NZ Cascade, and Peacharine deliver oil laden flavors of white grapefruit, guava, nectarine, sauv blanc, and light pine with ripping gas berry aromatics. We’re incredibly excited about this beer and the direction it might push our future hop forward offerings.
