Gooding Farms is also back. Last brewed in August and also a gold medal winner at the Great American Beer Festival in the Vera Beer category. Like Oros it’s an all new West Coast L IPA that showcases nothing but the finest hops from Gooding Farms. This woman owned and operated, sixth generation hop farm in Parma, ID grows some bangin hops. We paired their 2025 Harvest Citra with that new hop Vera we’re super excited about and some Idaho Gem. Idaho Gem is a hop that was developed at Gooding Farms. It was first released in 2019 and is known for having a sweet red fruit note. They’ve been pushing the pick window back farther and farther on this hop and we were really impressed with it when we rubbed some last fall. We’re getting notes of resin, pineapple, and that red fruit that both the Idaho Gem and Vera bring. A few tweaks to the water for this one really helps to fill out the body and make you think you’re drinking something in the 6% ABV range.
