FAST HAND

West Coastish IPA

Fast Hand is the centerpiece of our Spaghetti Western themed West Coast IPA series and this batch is, IMHO, the best one we’ve brewed to date… by a wide margin. Admittedly, clear hoppy beer hasn’t exactly been our strong suit so far. We’ve brewed some good ones and some less than ideal ones but nothing that’s really shined like we had hoped. As much as we love hazy, hoppy beer we tend to be gravitate towards clearer versions of the West Coast variety a bit more lately so we really want to brew some that we’re incredibly fired up to drink. This batch of Fast Hand utilizes the same base of Krush and Chinook that the previous batches did but switches things up slightly from there. Whirlpool and mid Ferm DH additions of Idaho 7 layer a deep resinous base to support large charges of Simcoe, @eggershops late harvest Riwaka, and Krush Cryo. Electric grapefruit, crushed red berry, and juicy melon dominate the profile. Elevated bitterness and a dry finish keep everything in check and help to deliver the best West Coast IPA we’ve brewed to date. We’re pumped, hope you are too.

Hops: Chinook, Krush, Idaho7, Krush Cryo, Simcoe, Riwaka
