Our only 5% fresh hop beer of the season is here. DAMP 26.05 got a blend of 50lbs of Wet Citra from Gooding Farms and 50lbs of wet Mosaic from Jackson Hop Farms on the hotside. After fermentation with some classic lager yeast we dry hopped it with some Cryo Fresh Krush, Manilita from Freestyle Farms and Simcoe from TV hops. This is the first fresh hop beer we’ve added any NZ hops to and I think we need to do more of it in the future. Dank, herbaceous, with some bright citrus and red berry notes from the Manilita. Drinks like a pilsner but has the aroma and flavor of an IPA.
